Was supposed to meet Irene @ Bedok Mrt station but called Zhengxiang on time and got a free ride on her dad's car to Xueli's house. Stayed there for about 5mins before heading to Katong Shopping Mall. The distance we walked is ohmygod with the heels :/

Seoul Garden with Irene and Zhengxiang who popped out of nowhere. Wasn't as accomplished compared to the previous time where I practically ate for 3 hours. Got tired after an hour and Irene didn't eat much as well cause somebody wasn't there... And we kept thinking of Valentine's Day etc thus no appetite saaad case :/

Went with Irene to WhiteSands afterwardsto get nail polish... My toenails are now maroonred coloured and there are 9 kois in our new fish tank/bowl whatever you call it :)

After walking from Tampines One, Tampines Mall, Century Square, Suntec, City Link and Marina Square for the entire weekend...

I FINALLY GOT MY CNY DRESS!!!!!!!

Ok I know I'm super picky and only got one dress since I only go 拜年 on 初一 :X
Well, not much relatives in Sg what to do?

But but but, the dress still need accessories cos it's only black and white -.-
Chinese New Year can't do without red right... But it's quite nice la... The black gives a 墨-ish kind of touch I like! Though it's not really the kind of clothes I'd go out in (just like my '09 dress which I have only worn once during cny and no more...)
But this dress is like the price of my prom dress manxsxsxs... Maybe let my mum wear out if she wants don't waste >.<

Still need to shop for shoes. I hate to admit but wtf I'm size four zero and not 39 shuckszx. Only a few shops like Charles & Keith sell such size but damn, the shoes they sells have killer heels :/

Spent the whole afternoon finding songs sleepy alr. Should find those yoga classes jomel wants soon. Yes, soon soon soon! =P

Watched Forrest Gump again yesterday night and loved it.

Forrest’s life is filled with random tragedies that turn out for the better in the end. Spine problems, IQ of 75, love and all the absurdities of life. I've got quite a few things to say, and they don't sound nice. Intended to open an account on Wordpress so that I can selectively lock posts, but heck. I shall just mention them briefly.

Was visiting some friends' blogs and it dawned upon me that, hey you aren't that close with them as you thought you'd be.

You don't know what they are talking about, what they are doing now and what they are thinking.

Those whom you thought were close seems so distant all of a sudden... just because we were out of contact for a mere few weeks? I thought we ought to update each other but maybe that's my own wishful thinking. Perhaps time really can distill our friendship.

Yes, we are still friends. Just plain old friends I guess...
Maybe I made some mistakes. We all do, but if someone doesn't put you in priority, then let's make this mutual. At least there's still others around :)

Finally finished the movie Deep Blue Sea. Ain't that bad, albeit a little illogical. Enjoyed the chef's optimistism and humour and the sharks' wit. At least the show was better than Magnolia. Even Burn After Reading was much better than this show that wasted 3 hours of my life. Magnolia had big stars like Tom Cruise and Julianne Moore while the latter had Brad Pitt and George Clooney but oh boy, what a huge difference (although BAR's ending was a big doubleyou tee eff).
Magnolia was definitely the worst of all these films.

Need to find more Tom Hanks' films... At least his doesn't disappoint.

A League of their Own, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Band of Brothers, Road to Perdition, The Terminal, The Da Vinci Code, The Simpsons Movie, Charlie Wilson's War, Angels & Demons...

The group of us (Me Eileen Syaz Kevin Charles Mengseng) spent more than half of the time during rehearsal talking. But I realise some people, no matter how hard you try just ain't fit to be your friend. Ok basically, it's their sucky character. Lucky not my schoolmate/friend =X

And btw, I think the firm in charge of the organizing is totally fucked up. Lack of coordination and breakdown in communication please.

On the actual day A tell us to go put those headsets on the chairs in the auditorium. Afterwards B told me and Syaz to on-off the headsets to check if they working. Then A tell us to go check if all headsets are switched off. I told her we alr on-off all of them so obviously they are fucking switched off right?! But she insists on all of us walking around to check. After we are all done, C came down and tell us to redo the headsets cos the position we put them in is not what she wanted. Fucker why can't you all idiots decide alr and tell us do correctly in one single try?!
Wasted like one hour on all these shit zzz

And ystd after much talking in raised voices, I don't need to go work that fucked up job anymore. But poor Eileen got to go Parkway tsktsk who ask her succumb to pressure.

Zzz but because of this stupid non-existent contract, I missed like 3 job offers which include KY's and one from SAF Yatch Club... Damn it man, 2 of them were Accounts Assistant jobs argh.

For the entire month I didn't attempt my resume, I didn't go online to search for job vacancies. I simply rotted zzz. But honestly speaking, I intended to rot till I go uni, but my dad is starting to scold me alr haiz...

Well, lets hope I get the relief teaching job. Pay's good =X

Now I just have to start writing my resume and mass send them ASAP :)

After that went Best Denki wanting to get the iPhone cover for my bro. Too bad no stock. Prom ended!

Stupid make-up and cheap food. Many many pictures taken. His look in my direction was all that's enough for me I guess :) wanna thank Kaini for helping me ask heh. Went to Ngee Ann City for dinner at this relatively high-class thai restuarant Sabai. The food taste pretty good, quite authentic and the Tapioca + Coconut Milk is the best I've ever had. The price is pretty too -.= two hundred plus for five people only zzz.

Not doing any work today too tired zzz no SD card reader (in car) can't get photos out of camera haiyo!

So I got up in the morning and my mum gave me this card they bought for me. Omg it costs 16bucks cos is handicraft kind and the guitar girl is damn cool. Cried abit when reading the stuff they wrote but hee, they didn't see =X

And I got $200 hongbao from them =D
And my mum kept saying there's no presents for me anymore but my bro gave her away. Though I didn't recieve in the morning...

So I went to school and Irene gave me the birthday card.

And got present which Alyss, Amelin, Hebei, Irene, Kaini, Mayves shared. It's a Domo hahah michelle i got Domo too :D

Thn lessons till before recess when Ms Wong came in and kept apologizing for forgetting my birthday + cake and got the class to sing Birthday Song.
Went to the canteen for recess and I kinda got abit surprised with the cake and the singing of the Happy Birthday song (shouldn't have ordered my food first la, ate until damn full ><). The pictures are with ZX which I forgot to get from her today zzz... Went back to class and ZX gave me her card. Super ZX style with MJ + CCHMS combine. I like handmade cards yay :D

Thn blahblahblah... after Maths Lecture Shenna came and gave me this present from her and King. The present is like, awesome! Creative ttm. I bet even if I squeeze every drip of my brain juice also can't come up with such idea. It's a "CD" and ... just look at it!

Nice right! LOL.

So lessons drag till 5.05 and I went home.

And yepp the presents were there on the table. The best part is my mum made my auntie and uncle come all the way from Jurong to celebrate birthday with me yay :D She tried to make them enter the house when I was napping but unfortunately, I wasn't asleep yet so their plan failed hahahha. Had a nice dinner which my mum cooked all my favourite food : Thai Fried Chicken, Asam Fishead, Gu Lao Rou, Long bean w mincemeat thai style, tofu on hotplate, potato leaf w sambal chilli etc... yum yum yum =)

My mum say this was the first time ever my dad ever raised the topic on the day whoever was born to her. My dad ah... reminscing wor =P

And I got $100 hongbao from Auntie yay :D

And opening of presents ~

This cost like 30 plus cos the little bricks are sold individually. Hahha they write " ♥J♥OANNA♥DRAKULYA" hahhaha. And some other stuff like leggings and the WTF and You Are The Best sign. hohoho.

Family, studies, friends... you name it.

Went with the guitar slackers to watch Angels & Demons after Chemistry Time Trial @ eHub. Smuggled SuperDog food into the theatre heehee.

The movie is nice! Hans Zimmer's music is superb, but Pirates of the Carribbean series were obviously so much better, duh! The ending was not the same as the book but I guess they had to change it to such a way so as not to reflect so badly of the Church =X

Lady Luck's only our side!
During the last quarter of the movie, the sound system went crazy and most of the parts will muffled which is bloody irritating. Was cursing all the way and almost wanna go out to complain (but didn't 'cause it kept going on and off).
And guess what, after the movie, the manager person said we can use our ticket to gain one free entry to another movie at any Cathay theatres!

TRANSFORMERS 2 DEAREST PEOPLE!!!!!!

And so we went for the SYF Appreciation 09 in the rain.
And on the bus, was sitting on this seat. And some fucking bitch whose face is like a makeup pot told us to give our seat to this fifty-plus old lady standing next to her, when we were one stop away from MJ.

Like what the fuck please!

Firstly, I didn't notice the old lady was there so whatever. It's not as if I didn't give up seats in my lifetime. I bet I gave up more than you please.

And secondly, I bet you are saying that 'cause you are jealous that I have a seat and your big fat fucking ass doesn't. Hahahahahaha

And there was the Appreciation thingy where Mr Cha bought us some tea-breakish food yeah.

The Mr Cha with a PhD and so many patents around the world told me that! While, it was short and sweet and targeted. Shan't disclose the content but you can ask me if you want =)

Afterwards went with the guitar freaks again to BK @ White Sands for dinner where we made a huge din at the place, inviting glares and stares from the public. Ohwells, not me hurhurhur. Went to meet K @ Simei then C @ Bugis for PastaMania lunch.

Met YinHong ( after not seeing her for such a long time) and we walked to SaSa to buy K's erhems, facial blotters.

& yes, I bought new stockings to change out of my old one 'cause the two keep laughing at me.

Then we bought this expensive $5 pack of cards and started playing Bridge @ J.Co while waiting for Her Royal Highness' arrival.

Went OG today for CNY clothes.

My mum bought another 2 qipaos which costs $300 when she already has two Shanghai custom-made ones rotting in the closet. Now also not olden days, not everyday can wear one -.= but still, looks good on her. Lalala~

Well, I've been thinking. This year's 2009 which means I'm going to be Eighteen. One Eight. Yeah sure growing up would be fun but something seems to be bugging me at the back of my mind.

Growing up might not neccessary be fun.

It means there's responsibility to be taken. I can't rely on my parents for everything anymore. Every action I take would have a consequence, be it positive or negative and I would have to answer to it, alone.

Firstly when you turn eighteen, what do you do?

You go get your Car License.

But have you thought of this. Driving the car (provided I can even pass the test) puts you at risk of accidents. What happens when you crash your car into the tree? Even if you're okay, the car might not be. And for that one single wrong action, it's going to cost you hundreds of dollars.

And then there's the A' levels. What if I don't do well? What if I can't get into the top 3 local universities? ? What if I failed and have to go overseas to 'buy' a degree? That would definately hurt my parents, my dad especially. How is it possible to vie with so many other smart people and the even smarter foreign talents for a place in the university?

Provided I graduate, with the economic facing a downturn, how am I suppose to secure a good job with reasonable pay? My resume would not be that terrific for sure, so how am I suppose to stand out of the crowd and get picked amongst the dozens interviewed for that one job?

With a job, I would still have to please my boss, build good work relationships and omg, what if I can't get married?! And apparently, my EQ is not at the high range and I'm suspecting if it's even touching the average rank.
